Welcome to Samantha Byrd Photography! To ensure a smooth, enjoyable, and professional experience for all clients, we have established the following studio policies. By booking a session with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Booking & Payments

A non-refundable session fee is required to secure your session date and time. This fee covers the  preparation for your session and does not include any products or images.

The remaining balance for any chosen collections or products is due at the time of your image reveal and ordering appointment.

All payments are non-refundable and must be completed before any products are delivered.

2. Rescheduling & Cancellations

We understand that life happens! One reschedule is allowed with at least 4 weeks notice before your session. Any reschedules requested after this period may require a new session fee.

If you cancel or fail to show up for your session without prior notice, your session fee will be forfeited and the minimum investment of $699 will be due to cover the time of the photographer and make up artist, as this date was held.

In the event of an emergency or unexpected circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate.

3. Model Release & Privacy

Your privacy is extremely important to us. Your images will never be shared without your explicit permission.

Clients have the option to sign a model release allowing images to be used for portfolio, website, or promotional purposes. This is completely optional.

If you agree to a model release as part of a promotional session (such as a model call), this agreement is binding.

4. Image Reveal & Ordering

Approximately 2-3 weeks after your session, you will be invited for an in-person or online image reveal and ordering appointment.

All orders must be placed at this time. Due to the custom nature of our products, all sales are final once an order is placed.

Payment plans are available upon request; however, no products will be delivered until the balance is paid in full.

5. Retouching & Editing

Standard retouching includes skin smoothing, blemish removal, and light body contouring.

Additional retouching requests (such as tattoo removal, body modifications, or extensive edits) may incur an extra fee.

We do not alter body shapes in a way that misrepresents your natural beauty—we aim to enhance your confidence, not change who you are.

6. Studio Etiquette & Guests

Sessions are a private and intimate experience. For this reason, additional guests are not permitted in the studio unless pre-approved.

Alcohol is not allowed before or during your session. We want you to feel comfortable and confident, and safety is a priority.

Clients are responsible for bringing their own wardrobe if they choose to do so. We also provide access to our carefully curated Client Wardrobe.

7. Product Delivery

All albums, prints, and products are custom-made and will be delivered within 6-8 weeks after your order is placed.

Digital images will be provided via an online gallery once your full balance has been paid.

Due to the custom nature of our products, all sales are final and non-refundable.

8. COVID-19 & Health Precautions

If you feel unwell before your session, please notify us immediately to reschedule.

The studio is regularly sanitized, and all makeup tools are cleaned between clients.

Hand sanitizer and masks are available upon request.

9. Liability & Safety

Samantha Byrd Photography is not responsible for any injuries sustained on location or in the studio.

Clients assume all responsibility for their personal belongings during the session.

By booking a session, clients acknowledge that they are participating voluntarily and at their own risk.
