I am going to be real for a minute. I absolutely LOVE being a photographer. I love the client interaction and the reaction I get when they see their images for the first time. It is beyond rewarding and no that isn’t just a line. Usually when they tear up, I am tearing up right there with them because their happiness fuels my soul, and right now my soul could use some fueling.
I last minute decided to *try* and run some sunflower mini sessions. Waimanalo Country Farms is one of my favorite locations on island. When the sunflowers are in bloom you will for sure find me there. Its just majestic. I was shocked when I didn’t book one mini session and I was a little bummed. Instead of canceling my reservation with the farm I decided to ask a friend if they wanted to shoot with me! And I am SO glad she said yes!
Brianna is a bad ass hair dresser and rocked this Lulus body con dress I had in my client closet begging to be seen. Her and her husband were so easy to work with and the sunset over the mountains was stunning. This was just the reset that I was needing.
So yeah maybe I was a little sad I didn’t book any minis because these sunflowers are just amazing and deserve to be used. But in the end I am happy that I just did what my heart desired and made some magic to share with you all.
