I have not written a blog in what feels like ages. As you may have noticed we have moved off the Island of Oahu and have settled into Savannah GA. It has been a crazy time getting to where we are. My husband exiting the military in the middle of a pandemic has probably been the hardest thing we have been through.
As if the pandemic wasn’t enough it pretty much unraveled every plan we had made, turning our lives into complete uncertainty. Move to Charleston we thought, only to be offered a job in Savannah instead. Buy a house in Savannah only to have closing delayed. So off we traveled to stay with family 9 hours away because we couldn’t just hop around to airbnb’s when we had no end in sight.
We still don’t know what our future holds right now but we are finally settled into our home and that itself feels amazing. Our kids are running around outside in our yard and it makes my heart so happy that they can do that. As scary as life is right now I am happy that at least we are together as a family. Josh has spent more time with the kids this last month than he probably has been able to in a very long time.
I am finally to a point that I can start shooting clients again and MAN AM I EXCITED. I am so excited to explore and find locations. I am eager to meet all the people and capture their lives. I am so ready, give me all the couples and boudoir. So for the month of May I will be offering $75 off all my portrait sessions as I find my ground and scope out new amazing places to capture memories.
